I WILL（外国人親子の支援及び国際交流）

“I WILL” is a project organised by a non-profit organisation; Human Connect Hyogo, to promote international exchanges in our communities and to support foreign families living in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.

We aim to encourage mutual understanding in the communities. To achieve our goals, we will support foreign families to be able to spend their unfamiliar ways of life in Japan more pleasantly.

This project is designed to cope with problems that foreign families are facing with while living in Japan. Our target is to help making our society more comfortable for foreign families to live, so that their children will be able to spend their lives healthily.

Our activities in details are as follows:

・Families Supporting Programs : We provide supporting programs that overcome language and cultural barriers to let foreign families understand Japanese systems or services. By giving them information or advises about education, welfare system, etc, we will help foreign families to be able to spend their lives without worries.

・Holding International Exchange Events : We provide international exchange programs for both local residents and foreign families. We plan to hold many kinds of fun activities where we can learn and understand different cultures, such as cultural festivals, international food festivals, international sports days, etc.

・Language and Cultural Study Programs : We provide matching programs for foreign families who want to learn Japanese language and cultures, and Japanese families who want to learn foreign languages and cultures. Language exchange is an essential mean to deepen our mutual understanding.

“I WILL” intends to be a mediator to make our whole society respects diversities or differences in nations, cultures, beliefs, opinions, etc, and make a harmonious society for us to live with one another. We support the formation of a society where international perspective is actively built. One of the way to develop that perspective is to show our warm welcome and understanding to foreign families. “I WILL” has started in order to create a society that encourages and makes use of diversities. We will grow and learn together.

「I WILL（アイ・ウィル）」は、外国人の親子支援と国際交流を促進するための活動です。

私たちは、多様な文化や背景を持つ外国人の親子が日本でより豊かな生活を送るためのサポートを提供し、地域社会との相互理解を促進することを目指しています。

この活動は、外国人の親子が日本での生活において直面する様々な課題に対応し、彼らが安心して暮らし、子どもたちが健やかに成長できる環境を整えることを目的としています。

具体的には、以下のような活動を展開していきます。

• 親子サポートプログラムの提供：言語や文化の壁を乗り越え、日本の制度やサービスを理解し、利用できるようなサポートプログラムを提供します。教育、福祉などの分野でのアドバイスやガイダンスを通じて、外国人の親子が安心して生活できるように助けます。
  
  
• 国際交流イベントの開催：地域の住民と外国人の親子とが交流できる場を提供します。文化祭、国際料理フェスティバル、スポーツイベントなど、様々なイベントを通じて異なる文化を理解し、共に楽しむ機会を創出します。
  
  
• 言語・文化交換プログラム：日本の言語や文化を学びたい外国人の親子と、日本人が外国の言語や文化を学びたいという家族とのマッチングを行います。言語を通じた交流は相互理解を深める重要な手段となります。
  

「I WILL」は、社会全体が多様性を尊重し、共に共生していくために必要な架け橋となることを目指しています。外国人の親子に対して温かい歓迎と理解を示すことで、国際的な視野を持つ地域社会の形成を支援します。

私たちは、共に成長し、学び合いながら、多様性を活かした社会を築くために「I WILL」を展開してまいります。

例え、知らないところで不慣れな日常、分からない言葉の環境の中で生活すると、きっとストレスがたまりますね。このような活動でそういう外国人が気軽に参加してもらって、日本のことやルールをより理解してもらい、日本の習慣にも尊重してもらうことも目的の一つだと思います。

私には、あくまでも子供のことが一番です。世の未来は子供にありますから、健全な子どもたちが成長していけることを望んでいます。不登校等の社会問題が起きないように、サポートしていきたいです。

そして、日本人の子どもたちにも、交流でたくさんのことが学べたら嬉しいです。もっと自分たちの視野を広げて、より住みやすい社会を築いてくれたら、何よりです。
